Oilex is searching for an experienced VP of Finance/CFO to work in Denver, CO. As the VP of Finance/CFO, you will play a critical role in assuming responsibility for the financial functions of the company and will work in conjunction with the President of the company and the bookkeeper, who possesses a strong skill set.As the VP of Finance/CFO you will:
Partner with the bookkeeper to close the books on a monthly basis
Analyze the impact of acquisitions and organic expansion
Data analysis to optimize sales mix and promotions
Data analysis on ROI on advertising, promotions and similar customer outreach
Determine the optimal use of capital through ROI analysis
Lead the annual audit process
Present financial analysis to the President and Board of Directors
Work with the private equity team to optimize the company’s capital structure and liquidity
Assist with the transition of the company from Quickbooks to an ERP system or more robust accounting software package
In order to be successful in the role you must possess:
A four-year university degree in Accounting or Finance or a related program
Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial positions, which must include accounting experience, with increasing responsibility
Leadership experience
Experience with acquisitions
Knowledge of ERP systems a plus
Automotive or retail experience a plus
Analytical ability and resourcefulness
The ability to solve problems and determine solutions
Team player mentality
